Today we had happy birthday lunch with Becky! Lainey tried a baked potato for the first time and decided that she likes french fries much better; the ground surrounding her high chair was blanketed with a fresh coating of snowy potatoes. After lunch we stopped by Grandma's school and hung out with the big kids for a little while. They always love seeing her and she just laughs at them when they circle around her. We then went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and hung out with Shannon and Cole... and some poultry. Lainey hung out with Grandma and Grandpa while Shannon and I went shopping with some of her friends from school. In pictures Cole always cuddles up next to Lainey in pictures, but I think that cousin rivalry might be sinking in. He doesn't enjoy sharing his dinosaurs with her and today, he actually shoved her backwards. :( He does like telling her what to do though, especially if he has the opportunity to tell her no, "No No Ahnana!"
Dr. Weare called this afternoon to inform us that Alaina's thyroid functioning tests returned normal results. Now we just have to wait a week for the Vitamin D results.
